Pressure & Soft Washing

Algae and pollen hold moisture against your home.

Algae, mildew, and pollen don't just look bad. They hold moisture against siding, decks, and shingles and shorten the life of all three, and the wrong pressure does more damage than the growth did.

Pressure & Soft Washing
What I Do

What I do on every job

Match the method to the surface: pressure for concrete, soft wash for siding and roofs
Apply the right detergent and give it time to work before rinsing
Pre-wet and protect landscaping and beds before washing
Walk every surface with you to confirm it's clean and undamaged

What you’ll notice after

  • Siding that's even in color again instead of streaked
  • A driveway that reads new from the street
  • No etching, gouges, or shingles stripped of granules

Every job, start to finish.

My Process

Step by Step

1

Inspect Surfaces

I identify each surface material and its condition to choose the right pressure and detergent.

2

Select Method

High pressure for durable hardscapes; soft wash with surfactant and sodium hypochlorite for siding, roofs, and delicate surfaces.

3

Apply Detergent

The right cleaning solution goes on and gets time to work, lifting algae, mildew, and grime off the surface.

4

Wash & Rinse

I wash at the correct pressure and rinse thoroughly, protecting plants and surrounding areas.

5

Post-Inspection

I walk the results with you to confirm every surface is clean and undamaged.

Pressure & Soft Washing FAQs

Common Questions

What's the difference between pressure and soft washing?+
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water for durable surfaces like concrete. Soft washing uses low pressure with detergents for siding, roofs, and finishes that high pressure would damage.
Is soft washing safe for my roof?+
Yes. Low-pressure detergent washing is the recommended method for asphalt shingles, because high pressure strips granules and shortens roof life. I use the correct dilution and rinse thoroughly.
